Dr. Wayne Kuhl grew up in DyersviIle, Iowa “The FieId of Dreams”. He graduated from Loras College, Maxima Cum Laude, and received his medical degree from the University of Iowa School of Medicine, Internship was served at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Kuhl’s residency training was at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Upon completion of his Internal Medicine residency Dr. Kuhl was awarded the Graduate Travel Award for outstanding achievement in InternaI Medicine.
Dr. Kuhl is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He has been recognized as a “Top Doc” by Phoenix magazine every year from 1997 to the present. Dr. Kuhl specializes in the diagnosis and management of adult medical conditions and believes strongly in providing comprehensive preventative care. Dr. Kuhl is honored to be the Head Team Physician for the NFL Arizona Cardinals and has been with the Cardinal organization since 1990. He finds this experience to be a challenge as well as inspiring to work with young professional athletes.
Dr. Kuhl and his wife, Judy, have been married for over 45 years and are extremely proud of their children and 6 grandchildren. Dr. Kuhl enjoys sports and is an avid golfer, spending time with family at their cabin in Pinetop, traveling, and attending the athletic and school functions of his grandchildren.
