Missy Frazelle is a native Phoenician who was born and raised in the heart of Arcadia. She received her undergraduate bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Arizona and her master’s degree in nursing from Loyola University Chicago. Missy is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Integrative and Functional Medicine training.
Prior to joining our group, Missy worked in oncology as a nurse and then Nurse Practitioner for seven years at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Being passionate about preventative and “root cause” medicine, she made the switch to Internal Medicine in 2017, where she worked and received training at an Integrative Internal Medicine Practice in downtown Chicago. After a decade of cold winters, she returned to Phoenix with her expanding family to continue this work.
Missy practices Integrative Preventive Medicine, providing annual exams and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions. Her areas of interest are: women’s health and hormones, thyroid disorders, fertility optimization, digestive issues, metabolic disorders such as high cholesterol and diabetes, and mental and cognitive health.
Missy enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, exploring new cuisines, and listening to a good medical podcast. She loves spending time with her daughter, husband, family and friends in the valley.
